To The Victor, The Spoils

As some of you may be aware from my recent "subtle" post, I recently entered a competition over at Tenkar's Tavern and, I won. :0).

Not only did I win but, the category in which I won allowed me to actively choose my prizes! How cool is that?

My first choice was between either TFTSB #23: Pirate Island or, TFTSB #24: The Lost Colony, along with my choice of any one of the first 16 Toys From The Sandbox supplements.

Now I have had my eye on these goodies for a few weeks, ever since I saw them in the DriveThruRPG newsletter, so to get my free pick of two of them was just plain awesome.

In the end, I decided to go for TFTSB #24: The Lost Colony and, TFTSB #6: Cursed Catacombs. I found the description for The Lost Colony quite evocative and can really see a lot of potential in it for various types of adventure, with the first idea popping into my head being a Fantasy rendition of Aliens.

My second choice wasn't a hard one. I love running dungeons bursting at the rotten seams with the undead, so it just had to be Cursed Catacombs.

So there we have it. My choices. Both of which I hope to play through and write up in the near future. In the mean time though, why not pick up a copy of your very own? Costing only $1.99 and $0.99 respectively, these items are well worth a punt.
