Geeks Do It Better #1: It Starts.

Following on from the success of my now semi-retired (but still ever ready for action) feature, DMotivational, Geeks Do It Better will continue to wave the banner of Geek humor here on Alchemy hill. Minus the restrictive format of the demotivational poster... Which opens the door to a lot of new material, today's being lovingly purloined from the Being a Geek Farcebook page.

So what do you think guys? Do we have a winner?

A Few New Bits And Bobs

I popped down to my FLGS store yesterday and, spotted something odd out of the corner of my eye.

In amongst the odds and sods pile of second-hand (but still in good shape) miniatures was a couple of packets of second-hand dice, one of which included this little bundle to the right for the very reasonable price of £6.

Dice for random weapons, armor, alignment, critical hits, critical misses, terrain, traps and, a couple of more besides. All great stuff as far as I'm concerned and, I'm just itching for an excuse to roll them.

I also managed to pick up a few old metal miniatures, some of which form an anti-hero party of ogres for only 20p a piece! Sadly they wouldn't photograph though due to the bare metal finish and the lighting conditions (not to mention a low res camera). All being well, they'll photograph a lot better once painted though. :0).

There's also a gnome in there. Gotta love gnomes. ;0).

Alchemy Bytes #21: Warrior Dice

This awesome little game is one that I have been wanting to post for a while but, through a combination of a lack of time to look for it and, not being 100% sure what it was called, it's taken a while but, I'm sure you'll think it's worth it.

So, for your gaming pleasure, I present you with Warrior Dice from the wonderful folks over at Warpspawn Games.

Not just an awesome freebie but, one that is easily customized and, I love customization! Why not take a look over the system and design a champion of your very own.

Surely I am not the only one thinking Jedi with all this talk of force points. ;0).
